My duo, “Pickin Up the Hollar”, (might be a trio if my guitarist brother joins us) will be at the Winter Farmers’ Market at the Historic Cheyenne Depot on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 9 am to 1 pm, playing bluegrass.
Why not join us for some good music while you shop?
What goes on at a Winter Farmers’ Market, because there’s no fresh produce?
Folks sell a variety of arts and crafts, and plenty of food vendors!
Be sure to check out our future performances there:
March 18, 2023 (Kevin & Mandy perform Irish Music in honor of Saint Patrick’s Day)
April 1, 2023 (Nancy and Friends will be performing April Fool Songs!)
On August 30, an impaired driver ran into the left-hand corner of the Cheyenne Artist Guild building. Apparently he was rather intoxicated.
The Cheyenne Artist Guild is not on the main road, you have to turn left into its parking lot, but nevertheless the driver managed to hit the building with enough force to knock in a window and the bookcase that was in front of it.
Fortunately there was no one in the gallery at the time. No word on the status of the driver.

Those are my 3 blue photos to the right of the hole in the wall, unharmed and ready for the September Sapphire show. That will obviously be delayed for a few weeks.
The only silver lining is that this happened while the Guild was between shows, so there was not as much art in that part of the gallery as there otherwise would have been.

Ya Hoo! My ‘Buttin Heads’ Buffalo Picture received an Artist Guild Ribbon in my first show! The judges comments were: “cropping, lighting, all composition good.”
You would talk about where you were when you saw the horse, what attracted you to the horse, how long it took you to get an image that you liked, and so on.
